Speed complaints
become churn in 60 days.
An ISP loses subscribers to service, not price. Exrecharge ties complaints, outages and plan changes to the same connection it bills, so the home that is quietly losing patience shows up while you can still fix the line.
Six things that decide whether a subscriber renews
Broadband is a service business pretending to be a billing business. These are the places where the two meet.
Speed plans with prorating
Upgrade from 60 to 100 Mbps on the 12th and only the remaining days are charged at the higher rate. A downgrade is handled the same way, both ways round.
Outages recorded by lane
Log an outage once against a lane or a feeder, and every connection behind it carries the record - including into the churn score.
Credits in one action
Apply a credit to a whole lane for a long outage. It appears as a credit note on each invoice, not as a mysterious change in the amount.
Complaint history that counts
How many, how long open, and whether the same fault came back. Repeat complaints weigh heavily on the risk score, because they should.
Router and ONT deposits
Deposit and serial tracked on the connection, so equipment recovery at disconnection is a list rather than a search.
Upgrade candidates
The flip side of churn. Subscribers paying on time, on a plan below their usage pattern, are a short list worth one phone call.
How a broadband subscriber actually leaves
It almost never starts with a disconnection request. It starts with an evening of buffering, and ends two months later with a competitor's cable already pulled to the pole. Each of these steps is visible in your own records.
Every downgrade is added to the churn board automatically. It is the single clearest warning an ISP gets.
Asked by broadband ISPs
Does Exrecharge control my network equipment?
No. We do not touch your OLT, your router configuration or your bandwidth. Suspension and restoration are actions you take on your own network, and we only tell you who is unpaid.
Can I log outages against a feeder rather than each subscriber?
Yes. Log it once on the lane or feeder and every connection behind it inherits the record, including for credits and for the churn score.
Do you handle FUP and data-limited plans?
Plans can be priced with a data limit described on the invoice and the reminder. Usage enforcement stays with your network equipment, which is where it belongs.
We run both cable and broadband on the same network. Is that a problem?
No, it is the common case. A home can hold a cable pack and a broadband plan on one connection with one reminder, one amount and one receipt.
Where to look after this
Let the street
do the chasing.
Import your list this week and the 25th run goes out on its own. Most operators are live on the same day they upload, because the register is the only thing we need from you.
