A reminder that reads
like a neighbour wrote it.
Subscribers ignore bills and read messages. Exrecharge sends short, plain reminders with the amount and a payment link on top, in the language that subscriber actually reads.
You set the rhythm once
Pick the days, pick who gets what, and the run repeats every month. Operators usually start with four touches and tune from there once they see which one does the work.
Language is a field on the subscriber, set during import or by your agent at the door.
Messaging the way the platforms allow it
WhatsApp and SMS both have rules about what a business can send and when. Exrecharge works inside them rather than around them, which is what keeps your sender reputation intact.
Approved templates only
Reminders go out on pre-approved utility templates with your business name on them. You edit the variables, not the structure, so a run never gets blocked mid-month.
Opt-out is final
A subscriber who replies STOP is marked opted out on the connection. Reminders end there, the record shows it, and your agent sees the flag on the route.
Quiet hours respected
Runs are held to daytime windows. Nobody gets a payment reminder at eleven at night, which is the fastest way to lose a subscriber you were trying to keep.
SMS as the fallback
If WhatsApp does not deliver, the same reminder goes out over SMS with the link shortened. One reminder, two routes, no duplicate.
Nobody messaged twice
Advance payers, part payers who have cleared the balance, suspended homes and opted-out homes are all excluded from the run without you filtering a list.
The link is the point
Every reminder carries a live payment link for that subscriber's exact balance. A reminder without a way to pay is just noise.
How messaging is handled
Your account, your money
Subscriber payments settle into the operator's own bank account through licensed payment partners. Exrecharge never holds your collection.
Opt-out is honoured
Reminders follow WhatsApp and SMS template rules. A subscriber who opts out stops receiving messages, and the record shows it.
No automatic disconnection
We will tell you who is unpaid after the grace period. Suspending or restoring a connection stays an action you take.
Your subscriber data
The list belongs to the operator, is exportable in full at any time, and is never sold, rented or shared with another operator.
About reminders
Will reminders come from my business name or yours?
Yours. The WhatsApp sender is registered against your business and the SMS header carries your own ID, so a subscriber sees the operator they pay, not a software company they have never heard of.
Can I write my own message?
You can edit the wording inside an approved utility template and set the variables. Free-form promotional text is deliberately not allowed, because that is what gets a sender blocked.
What if the phone number on my register is wrong?
Undelivered reminders are listed with the reason, so a wrong or disconnected number surfaces in the first run instead of staying hidden for a year. Your agent can correct it from the route.
Does an opt-out stop receipts too?
Transaction receipts for a payment the subscriber has just made continue, because they are a record of their own transaction. Recurring due-date reminders stop.
Where to look after this
Let the street
do the chasing.
Import your list this week and the 25th run goes out on its own. Most operators are live on the same day they upload, because the register is the only thing we need from you.
